The ensuite bathroom detailed on this page was built completely from scratch starting with new stud walls. Space was limited and the design we came up with provided an 8 jet whirlpool showerbath, a wok sink, worktop area and a separate WC. The property was a period property with all the original skirting boards and decorative cornices still in place. We had to ensure that the construction appeared to be original. We used a specialist plasterer to make and install the new cornices to match existing, and took samples of the existing skirting boards, picture rails and architraves to enable new sections to be made at a local joiners.
